Soccer or Multi-Sport? How to Find the Right Fall Class for Your Child

Learn more about Soccer Stars & Amazing Athletes

September 9, 2026

Fall schedules fill up quickly, and for many families, early September is the moment when after-school and weekend routines finally start to take shape.

If you’re still looking for a fall sports activity your child will be excited to come back to each week, Soccer Stars and Amazing Athletes bring high-energy coaching, age-appropriate skill development, and seriously fun soccer and multi-sport classes to kids ages 1–10 across the Main Line—no experience needed.

More Touches. More Skills. More Soccer
For children who already love soccer—or are ready to give it a try for the first time—Soccer Stars offers age-appropriate instruction that grows with them.

Classes begin as early as age 1 with Parent & Me programs and continue through elementary-age groups. Younger players learn through imaginative games and playful activities, while older children have more opportunities to develop technique, ball control, coordination, and confidence.

The focus is on building skills without the pressure of a highly competitive environment, making Soccer Stars a good fit for both first-time players and kids who simply want more touches on the ball each week.

This fall, Soccer Stars is kicking off at convenient locations throughout the Main Line, including St. David’s Episcopal Church, Greater Plymouth Community Center, and Upper Merion Community Center.

10+ Sports. One Amazing Class
Some young athletes aren’t ready to pick a favorite—and they don’t have to.

Amazing Athletes introduces children to the fundamentals of a variety of sports, including soccer, basketball, baseball, tennis, hockey, and volleyball.

Rather than specializing early, children get the chance to throw, catch, kick, balance, jump, run, and experiment with different movements from week to week. Along the way, they also learn age-appropriate lessons about teamwork, muscles, nutrition, and healthy habits.

This fall, Amazing Athletes classes will be offered at Gladwyne Park, Clem Macrone Park, Greater Plymouth Community Center, and Upper Merion Community Center.

Skills That Go Beyond the Field
While the programs may look different, the goal is similar: give children a positive early experience with sports.

Both Soccer Stars and Amazing Athletes use small-group classes and energetic coaches to keep children engaged rather than waiting on the sidelines. Activities are tailored to each age group, so a two-year-old’s class looks very different from a session for an older elementary-age player.

Most importantly, kids get regular opportunities to practice new skills, build confidence, and become more comfortable using their bodies in an athletic setting.

Don’t Miss the Kickoff
Fall sessions begin in mid-September, and several classes are already filling.

If your child has been asking to play soccer, needs an outlet for all that morning energy, or is ready to explore a few new sports, grab their spot now and give them something to look forward to each week.
